The basic idea of ​​the automatic machines for assembling beekeeping frames, BEEFRAME , is linked to István Petrovics , who produced the first working prototype. The former beekeeper recognized that the stapling and drilling of frames is a process that can be automated, which currently takes up a lot of time from the lives of already busy beekeepers. With the prototype, István Petrovics won several awards, including the Hungarian Industrial Machine Award 2023. in The success of the prototype of the beekeeping frame assembly machine attracted the attention of the managers of Konkoly Electro , a company with a long history specializing in purpose-built machine manufacturing and process automation , who, together with the inventor István Petrovics, began to develop a family of machines for assembling beekeeping frames suitable for series production. The joint work began to mature by the end of 2024, when the first prototype of the machine family, which was already suitable for series production, the BEEFRAME SD-A1 P2/E6 , was completed .
